Uhuru Academy Conscious Ingenuity STEM Program

Student Hall of Fame

The UACI STEM Camp is a phenomenal success, celebrating the graduates' minds, both boys and girls, aged 8 to 17, from cities across the United States. These young scholars delved into the rich history of Black people in STEM, learning foundational knowledge in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and coding. Our educational framework emphasized teaching strategies that supported their learning and comprehension, ancestral STEM achievements, character development and community building.

Chaz R. Padilla

Instructor

Mr. Padilla has been teaching with Conscious Ingenuity for 3 years. He has been the main instructor for the UACI summer camp for the past two summers. A 2024 graduate from Morgan State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mr. Padilla is able to break down college level concepts to a digestible level for younger scholars. Mr. Padilla fosters a classroom environment where critical thinking is encouraged and curiosity thrives.

Nasir Randall

Instructor

Mr. Randall joined Conscious Ingenuity fairly recently and is still in his first year with the program. However, he has jumped in head first and proven he has the adaptability and patience to teach STEAM to a range of ages. Currently still an undergrad at Morgan State University for his B.S. in Electrical Engineering, he has adequately balanced his Student/Instructor roles. Mr. Randall loves to not only teach his course but also instill courage and ambition into his students.
